I wanted to depict a Desmodus Rotundus bat, known as Vampire Bat, in its natural environment, using a stylized look.
The base model was done with Autodesk Maya, the sculpting with Mudbox, the texturing with Photoshop and ZBrush, the seams fixing with Bodypaint.
Lighting and rendering in Softimage|XSI and compositing in Photoshop.
